Lingerie Fitting Guide

Wearing the right size bra can make a difference to how you look and feel.

Finding the right size for you is not always easy to determine with a tape measure and it is important to recognise that brands will vary from each other.

The following information is a guide to help find your correct size and should be used as a starting point.  If you need any assistance either email shop@butterflybras.co.uk or call 07974 074689 and we will endeavour to help.

The band size

This is the main supporter, taking the weight of the bust.  If the bra fits properly the band will be level front and back.  If the band rides up the size is too big.

The cup size

The cup is the main shaper of the bra.  If the bust bulges over the cup it is too small.  If the cup puckers or creases, its too big.  Underwires will offer extra support and shape.  If they are not flat to the breast bone or dig into the bust, the cup size is too small.  If they dig into the underarm, the cup is too big.

  1. With your bra on measure firmly around your rib cage, directly underneath your breast.

  2. Enter this band measurement, in inches, below.

  3. Again, with your bra on measure around the fullest part of your bust.

  4. Enter this cup size measurement below. You bra size should be displayed.
